Volunteer Awards Tea (June)
This is an important event where we come together to honor the special contributions of volunteers. We also award a scholarship to a Senior in high school who is a Bennett alumnus. Gold Acorn and Volunteer of the Year awards are given out with coffee muffins and fruit. The event is a brief event before school in the Library. In a volunteer organization gratitude is one of the most potent forms of currency we have.
It's time to recognize our amazing volunteers and teachers for their outstanding service! The PTSA is soliciting nominations for the Golden Acorn Award, PTSA Volunteer of the Year, and Educator of the Year.
PTSA Golden Acorn Award is offered by the Washington State PTA for recognition of a volunteer who has given outstanding service to students at Bennett, as well as youth in our community. It is intended to recognize volunteer service "above and beyond" a particular job description.
The Bennett PTSA Volunteer of the Year Award is designed to recognize and celebrate an outstanding volunteer, whose efforts this year have made a difference in the lives of Bennett students.
Bennett PTSA Educator of the Year Award is designed to recognize and celebrate an outstanding educator at Bennett Elementary, whose efforts this year have truly made a difference in the lives of Bennett students.
