Collectively we spend, each year, over 10,000 hours volunteering. This represents about 24 hours/student. Last year, parents gave 4,800 volunteer hours in the classroom. This support ranges from: preparing supplies for lessons, working with students on reading and math or helping out in the Library.

During our events and “Show Up and Do”  3,700 volunteer hours. This is the type of volunteering that everyone can do. Most events need assistance with setup and cleanup or an enthusiastic parent to show up and monitor an activity (usually with no experience or training required).

There is also a Volunteer Hour submission form under Volunteer Information for tracking your at-home volunteer hours.  This may come in handy for folks whose employers will make a donation to match volunteer hours spent.  This is a great way to double your gift.

Background check for all volunteers

Any parent, caregiver or community member who volunteers on campus or on a field trip must complete a Bellevue School District background check. Don't wait! Get approved now. For more information, contact Bennett's Front Office.
